Welcome to Taliban Food Centre, a hidden culinary gem nestled in the bustling Inanam Terminal Commercial Development in Sabah, Malaysia. At No 32-0 Lot 1, Blok A, this eatery offers a delightful journey into traditional Indian cuisine, specifically focusing on popular dishes that have captured the hearts and palates of locals and visitors alike.

The name may grab your attention, but it’s the food that keeps guests coming back for more. Taliban Food Centre is renowned for its authentic offerings such as fluffy naans and succulent tandoori. The star of the menu is undoubtedly the cheese naan; its golden brown crust is a testament to the skillful use of the tandoor oven, while generous cheese fillings create a mouthwatering stretch reminiscent of the best pizzas. Customer Abdul Hafiz Abdullah raved about how addictive this dish is, leaving you wanting more with every delightful bite.

In addition to the cheese naan, don’t miss their tandoori chicken, perfectly marinated and cooked to perfection, delivering moist and flavorful meat that pairs beautifully with the naan. For those looking for variety, the menu also features staples like roti canai, murtabak, and flavorful curries that bring forth authentic Indian spices; you can also enjoy options like Nasi Ikan Penyet and Ayam Penyet, which customers like Mas Light have praised for being perfectly packed and tasty, highlighting the crispy fish and its delightful sambal.

The atmosphere at Taliban Food Centre strikes a balance between casual and welcoming, making it an ideal spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Visitors can indulge in flavors that transport them far away from their busy lives to a realm of exquisite tastes and aromas. The friendly staff and fulfilling portions ensure a satisfying dining experience; as noted by regulars like Hazry Haidir, the morning offerings such as roti canai are especially worth waking up early for.

While there is a noted downside regarding the establishment’s proximity to a disposal bin house—a detail shared by customer Laici Longan—many agree that the food more than compensates for any distractions in the surroundings. As Eric Chang aptly put it, the culinary delight here overshadows any controversy surrounding the restaurant's name.

Whether you are a local exploring new flavors or a traveler seeking an authentic experience, Taliban Food Centre promises a meal that excites and satisfies. Come savor the rich taste of Indian cuisine in a cozy setting—you won’t leave disappointed!

This place may look unassuming but Taliban Food Centre is known to have the best naans and tandoori available! Their cheese naan is nicely cooked in a tandoor oven, which gives it a nice, brown crust on the edge. Cheese fillings are also generous with the result being able to pull it quite far apart (similar to all the pizzas commercial). To make things even better, the tandoori chicken is also a great compliment with its robust flavours and tender flesh.

I love the food they serve here. The concept is original, mainly serving Taliban/Indian bread like roti canai, naan, capati with side dishes like kebab, tandoori chicken, curries with other meat. The only thing am not happy is that the shop is opposite to it is the Disposal Bin House.

Had the Nasi Ikan Penyet, Ayam Penyet and Murtabak. Ordered on GrabFood. Nicely cooked and packed. Fish was crispy. Sambal was tasty. Came with free iced tea. A tad sweet. The murtabak not sure if it's a mix of beef and chicken, taste ok just some part salty. Overall not bad.

Arrived as early as 6:30am. The FC has open but with minimum dishes such as roti canai & nasi lemak. Most dishes ready around 07:45am, however the roti canai taste not bad. Even member eating with satisfaction.

The name is definitely eye catching and maybe offensive for somes. But it's all about foods, definitely like the roti and the lamb curry.
